Scott and Jessica Rubin Wedding

We filmed Scott and Jessica's wedding day last Saturday at the Mariott downtown Indianapolis. The Wedding and the reception were held at the Mariott. The staff at the Mariott were very accomodating and professional.

One of the things we enjoy about filming weddings is getting to meet some interesting people and to get to know the Bride and Groom. Scott and Jessica have a wonderful extended family and fantastic friends, who all shared the day with them. The ceremony was conducted by Rabbi Mark Goldman who has known Scott for over 20 years. Rabbi Mark, as he likes to be called, was entertaining and engaging. His delivery although entertaining and educational, it was also emotional. Rabbi Mark said something that stood out to us. He delivered a message not only to Scott and Jessica but to all the guests and reminded us that we should all wake up in the morning "with fresh eyes". Forget about yesterday's mistakes and start your day with fresh eyes. Great words of wisdom.

We were able to gather some great footage. A special thanks to DJ's Direct in helping us getting people involved with providing an on camera message to Scott and Jessica.

Welcome

A new addition to our website to post some happenings with Northernlight Filmworks and to comment on our weddings and special events that have or will be taking place.

We are busy working with Brides who have contacted us from the Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Indianapolis. We are gearing up for the next Perfect Wedding Guide Show in February at Valle Vista in Greenwood, IN.

We are also examining our editing workflow and will probably be adding hard disk recorders to our cameras, which will speed up the capture process, which is a time consuming part of editing. This will also be a great backup for our clients in the rare event we have a tape jam.

Met with our web designer, Chad Jackson (www.pingstorm.com), last night to tweak the already great looking work he did. Watch for more videos to go up in the screening room.
