Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Last weekend was the wedding of Deanna and Anthony. The wedding was held at the Brickyard Crossing Inn at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The day was absolutely perfect! As with all of our couples, we get to know a little bit about them and Deanna and Anthony were no different. Leading up to the wedding they have been through some really trying and difficult times. From having their home broke into and loosing many things to transmission problems. Deanna also lost her father a few months ago. Having filmed many weddings from Indianapolis and as far away as Colorado, the common thread is that family and friends make the wedding day all that more special. We cannot imagine but it must have been particularly hard for Deanna and Anthony not to have someone like her father experience the day. But Deanna's brother said it right when he said that he knew that "Dad" was smiling all day long. His little girl had turned into a beautiful woman and is now embarking on a new chapter of her life with Anthony. It was clearly evident that this day meant alot to Anthony and was really in love with his new Bride.

We were able to gain access to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway track because of Deanna's historic connection with the Speedway. Her Grandfather was legendary race driver Dennis "Duke" Nalon. Duke started 10 Indy 500 races, he was a 2 time pole setter. Both Deanna and Anthony have racing backgrounds. It was a great gesture from the Speedway allowing the couple to get some video and photos on the track and at the Winners Circle.

Oh yeah...we hi-jacked Jeremey Rhoades to get a picture of the two of us kissing the bricks at the Start/Finish line.
We don't usually do this but this was an opportunity we had to take advantage of. Thanks Deanna and Anthony for letting us get this shot and thanks for letting us in on your very special day. It was fun!

A special thanks to Chris James, DJ of Ultimate Entertainment www.ultimateentertainment.com for letting us plug into his board to capture some audio.
